|That's crazy on a few different levels.
Look at that climb from 1980, then look back at the 1880 levels then where it fell to after the depression was over until early 50's. Then think about how far it'll fall if it goes back to 1940's levels. If it falls as much as it did from 33 to 53 (rougly 170 points), it'd be back around 190, which is still higher than it has been for a little over a century.
... and that's just the data thru Q3-08. I don't doubt that it's even higher now.
